Atlanta Small Business Profile – Stephen ‘Steak’ Shapiro, Atlanta Eats

On this week’s episode of the Atlanta Small Business Profile, small business expert Ted Jenkin sits down with Stephen “Steak” Shapiro, Owner and CEO of Atlanta Eats.

Atlanta EatsSteak began his career in media as an intern for the popular Boston sports radio station, WEEI, during which he adopted the stage name “Steak Shapiro”. As a producer for the station, he believed that he had the talent and moxie to actually be on the air and eventually, he got his shot in Atlanta. For Steak, making the transition from sports radio to TV host was not all that different in many ways. It’s about having strong opinions and relaying those opinions in an exciting and entertaining way. The real challenge for Steak was learning the business side of television; the content, video, and marketing components that make a show great.

To find out more about Steak and Atlanta Eats, be sure to check out our entire interview above. And you can catch Atlanta Eats on PeachtreeTV every Saturday at 7:00 pm, Sundays at 10:30 am, and Monday-Friday at 9:00 am eastern.
