Global Entrepreneurship Week is Right Around the Corner – Here’s Why You Should Attend

On today’s show, we’re very pleased to welcome Franchesca Thompson, an educator and Global Entrepreneurship Week organizer for Georgia’s Gwinnett County. Global Entrepreneurship Week is a large-scale campaign in 170 countries with roughly nine million participants and 35,000 activities, including small, casual meetups, massive events, and valuable competitions. This year, the event will take place virtually on November 16 – 22 and will be free to all to attend.

Global Entrepreneurship Week takes place every November and is a celebration of entrepreneurship and small business. The events, workshops, pitch competitions, and keynotes are open to everyone in the community. They are designed to support student entrepreneurs, new startups, and even business owners who have owned their businesses for a while.

This year’s theme for Gwinnett will focus on thriving during the pandemic. To find out more about Global Entrepreneurship Week and to register, click here!
