Mastercard has unveiled its Small Business Navigator, a new digital platform designed to help U.S. small business owners improve operations, enhance cybersecurity, and achieve long-term growth.
Launched as part of Mastercard’s broader strategy to promote inclusive economic growth, the platform delivers tools, data, and education across three core areas: knowledge and insights, security and protection, and financial empowerment.
The platform’s knowledge and insights section features an AI-powered chatbot that offers business guidance, along with access to consumer spending data from The Mastercard Economics Institute and Mastercard SpendingPulse. Educational materials from Mastercard and partners, such as Square, address topics including digital payments and cybersecurity.
To help users strengthen their defenses, the security and protection area includes access to My Cyber Risk, powered by RiskRecon, which delivers personalized guidance following a Cybersecurity Assessment Quiz.
On the financial empowerment front, a partnership with Biz2Credit provides entrepreneurs with Virtual CFO services to assist with budgeting and cost planning. Some small businesses may also be featured on Mastercard’s social media as part of a promotional spotlight.
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) make up more than 99% of U.S. businesses, and Mastercard says the Navigator is specifically designed to simplify their day-to-day operations and empower growth through innovation and strategic partnerships.
