Cisco launches 360 Partner Program to help small businesses navigate AI-driven growth

On February 5, Cisco launched the Cisco 360 Partner Program, a comprehensive initiative designed to empower small businesses, consultants, resellers, and managed service providers to adapt to the growing demand for AI, digital resilience, and modern workplaces.

The program reshapes how Cisco works with its partners, offering new incentives, tools, and designations to support businesses as demand rises for AI-ready data centers, modern workplaces, and stronger digital resilience. For small business owners, the initiative signals a shift toward deeper collaboration as technology ecosystems become more complex.

A central feature of the Cisco 360 Partner Program is the Cisco Partner Incentive, designed to create more predictable earnings opportunities. By aligning partner sales and marketing efforts more closely with Cisco’s solutions, the incentive structure helps smaller businesses plan for growth in a market increasingly influenced by AI investment.

Additionally, the program introduces a tiered system of partner designations to help customers identify firms with the right expertise. All participants begin as registered Cisco Partners, with additional tiers including Cisco Portfolio Partner and Cisco Preferred Partner. These designations reflect varying levels of technical capability, specialization, and customer engagement, giving small businesses clearer signals when selecting technology partners.

To improve visibility and access, Cisco has launched a new Partner Locator tool. The platform allows businesses to search for qualified partners across security, networking, collaboration, and services. For small companies without extensive internal IT teams, the tool can simplify finding external expertise to support digital transitions.

Cisco is also rolling out additional resources, including rebates and a Partner Value Index, to help partners differentiate their services. The program builds on insights from Cisco’s AI Readiness Index, which highlights the competitive advantages for businesses prepared to adopt AI-driven technologies.

Still, the shift may require adjustment. Partners will be evaluated on expertise and engagement, which could require operational changes and new investments. For smaller organizations, balancing these demands with limited resources can be challenging.

Even so, Cisco says the program was built with partner input to support long-term success. For small business owners navigating the AI era, the Cisco 360 Partner Program offers a structured pathway to collaboration, visibility, and growth in an increasingly digital marketplace.
