Salesforce is expanding its suite of business solutions with the acquisition of Bluebirds, an AI-driven prospecting system designed to simplify and enhance top-of-funnel lead generation. Bluebird’s agnetic system reduces the time sales teams spend on manual prospecting tasks, allowing them to identify and engage higher-potential leads more effectively. The end result is sales teams spending less time on busywork and more time connecting with prospects, closing deals and ultimately boosting profitability.
“Every sales team wants to spend less time on busywork and more time closing deals,” said Kris Billmaier, EVP and GM of Sales Cloud at Salesforce. “Bluebirds’ technology will help us deliver smarter, AI-powered prospecting that makes sellers more productive from day one, right inside the Salesforce platform.”
Bluebird’s advanced software capabilities will be integrated into Salesforce’s existing Sales Cloud and Agentforce products. The integration is expected to be completed by the end of the third quarter of Salesforce’s fiscal year 2026.
For small business owners who often have limited sales resources, this acquisition brings significant benefits. By automating the prospecting process, small sales teams can more easily identify and connect with leads who are more likely to convert without having to juggle multiple tools. This integration strengthens Salesforce’s position as a comprehensive, all-in-one platform for sales and customer engagement.
“We started Bluebirds to help sales teams spend more time selling and less time stitching together disconnected tools,” said Rohan Punamia, Bluebirds CEO. “Joining Salesforce lets us accelerate that mission and bring the power of intelligent, agentic prospecting directly into the platform customers already know and trust.”
In addition to automated prospecting, Bluebirds offers comprehensive analytics and data insights that empower sales teams to adjust their strategies in real time. This means less wasted effort and more focused engagement with leads who matter. The enhanced AI-driven tools also level the playing field for small businesses, allowing them to compete more effectively against larger companies that may have access to a broader range of sales resources.
