Applications are open through June 6 as eBay commits $500K to support U.S. entrepreneurs with funding, tools, and coaching.

eBay has launched its 2025 Up & Running Grants program, offering 50 small businesses a $10,000 grant with tools to help them grow.

eBay has launched its 2025 Up & Running Grants program, offering 50 small businesses across the U.S. a $10,000 grant along with tools, mentorship, and credits to help them grow. Applications are open now through June 6, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. EST.

Now in its sixth year, the program will distribute $500,000 in cash grants. Each selected recipient will receive not only the $10,000 award, but also a $500 eBay Refurbished credit and access to a suite of business resources — including coaching, educational materials, and digital tools.

The initiative is part of eBay’s continued efforts to strengthen small businesses and local economies. “We believe in the ripple effect that happens when sellers are equipped with the tools and resources they need to grow,” the company said in a statement.

Since its 2020 debut, the Up & Running Grants program has awarded over $2.5 million to 250 small business owners. Past recipients report using the funds to enhance storefronts, build digital infrastructure, launch new product lines, improve order fulfillment, and hire staff. eBay also noted that 90% of previous grant winners said the funding significantly improved their confidence in their business’s future.

The program is administered in partnership with Hello Alice, a platform that provides small businesses with resources such as mentorship, industry-specific guides, and community support.

Entrepreneurs can learn more and apply through eBay’s official program portal ahead of the June deadline.
