Global Alliant Inc. CEO Rajan Natarajan was honored at this year’s CO-100 Awards, recognized for leading one of the fastest-growing technology companies serving the public sector. In an ASBN exclusive interview, Natarajan shares the company’s growth story, its challenges, and plans for future innovation.
Founded 27 years ago, Global Alliant provides technology solutions to solve complex, mission-critical problems for public sector clients. Its work spans healthcare, national security, civilian services, and transportation. In just seven years, the company has grown to serve 13 major clients and earned recognition as one of the fastest-growing technology companies in the region. Innovation, particularly the integration of AI, remains central to its solutions and growth strategy.
“We are solving customers' complex problems using technology.”
According to Natarajan, success requires aligning technology solutions with evolving policies, managing rapid growth without compromising quality, and maintaining high-performing teams to deliver on complex projects. Navigating these policy-driven, high-stakes environments has been a key challenge for Global Alliant as it scales.
Looking ahead, Natarajan aims to grow Global Alliant into a $500 million company within five years, with deeper expansion into defense and healthcare sectors. The company also plans to develop proprietary AI-driven products alongside its service offerings. For aspiring entrepreneurs, he stresses a simple mantra: listen, learn, and align. By understanding customer needs and policy-driven challenges, businesses can deliver meaningful, technology-driven solutions.
