Julia Pile: U.S. Chamber of Commerce C0-100 Honoree

At this year’s CO-100 Awards, ASBN connected with Julia Pile, co-founder of ParentCamp Consulting LLC, to learn more about how her business is bridging the gap between school faculty members and their local communities.

Social media has reshaped the relationship between school faculty and parents in both positive and negative ways. On one hand, it allows schools to share their successes and keep communities informed. On the other hand, it can create tension when parents vent online without directly engaging with teachers or principals, which children inevitably feel.

Pile created ParentCamp to address this gap, helping schools build stronger relationships with parents and community members. The company encourages parents, educators and students to come together in an open, supportive environment for meaningful dialogue.

"If you have a dream, just go for it. There's a reason you're set on that path. Take advantage of the people who cross your path because they do for a reason."

Looking ahead, Pile hopes to expand ParentCamp’s reach to more states and school districts, fostering the communities and villages that she sees as missing in today’s world. For aspiring entrepreneurs, Pile stresses the value of taking a leap of faith and cultivating connections, noting that the people who cross your path often do so for a reason.
