Intuit launches AI-powered platform to transform business and accounting operations

Intuit, the maker of TurboTax, QuickBooks, Credit Karma, and Mailchimp, announced major AI-driven enhancements to its all-in-one platform to help businesses and accounting firms compete and grow in the AI era. CEO Sasan Goodarzi unveiled the innovations at Intuit Connect, the company’s flagship event for global accounting leaders.

At the center of the platform transformation is Intuit Intelligence, a revolutionary system that unifies business data and provides a virtual team of AI agents. Users can ask questions like “How do I turn leads into sales?” or “What’s my projected profitability?” and receive immediate, data-backed answers and actionable recommendations. Automated tasks, such as payroll or report generation, reduce manual effort, saving businesses up to 12 hours a month.

Intuit’s platform also integrates enhanced AI agents across sales, payroll, accounting, project management, and finance, combined with trusted human experts. New agents include a Sales Tax Agent for compliance and a Payroll Agent that collects employee hours, detects anomalies, and generates ready-to-approve payroll drafts. Existing agents, such as the Accounting Agent and Project Management Agent, offer improved reconciliations, anomaly detection, and project profitability insights.

For mid-market businesses, the upgraded Intuit Enterprise Suite delivers an AI-native ERP solution with multi-entity management, instant insights, and industry-specific editions. Businesses can now optimize operations with automated workflows, faster onboarding, and intelligent KPI dashboards, while tailored construction workflows support complex project management.

Accounting firms gain new capabilities through the Intuit Accountant Suite, which centralizes client management, collaboration, and team operations. AI agents automate routine tasks, answer business questions, and assist with forecasting, while secure integration with Intuit and third-party data enhances accuracy and efficiency.

The new AI-powered tools and suites are available immediately for U.S.-based QuickBooks and Intuit Enterprise Suite customers, with mobile AI-agent features rolling out soon.

With these enhancements, Intuit aims to provide businesses and accounting firms with real-time insights, automation, and expert guidance, helping them operate smarter, grow faster, and uncover new efficiencies in the AI-driven marketplace.
